The first day of autumn.

Tomorrow I start my sixth week of teaching. It marks the halfway point for this experience. I’ll be done on November 6. I will walk out of the middle school, with my head held high and a Master’s waiting for me.

Then how come I don’t want it to end?

I’m very nervous about tomorrow. I will be teaching 80 minutes straight (block schedule) with my own lesson plans, not ones from my cooperating teacher. I’ll be teaching a total of over four hours tomorrow (and for the rest of the week), and I’ve never done that before. I know I can do it, but it’s going to be an entirely new challenge for me.

I’m going to try and blog every night this week so I can record how everything goes.

Wish me luck.
